Overview
Pigly helps users generate AI replies, shorten text, and manage related settings through the Pigly website and browser extension. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.
Information We Collect
We collect account information such as your email address, username, authentication details, plan status, payment records, extension access tokens, product settings, and generation history.
When you use Pigly to generate a reply, shorten text, or translate text, the text you submit and related request settings may be sent to our servers so the requested feature can work.
Browser Extension Data
The Pigly extension works on X/Twitter pages to provide reply, shortening, and translation actions. The extension may read the post text or nearby conversation context needed for the action you start. It sends that content to Pigly only when you request a generation, shortening, or translation action.
The extension also stores local preferences such as theme, enabled features, and account connection data required to keep you signed in.
How We Use Information
We use information to provide Pigly features, authenticate users, enforce plan limits, process payments, remember preferences, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and provide support.
AI and Third-Party Services
Pigly may send submitted text and generation settings to third-party AI or infrastructure providers to produce replies, shortened text, or translations. Payment processing may be handled by external payment providers. These providers process data according to their own terms and privacy practices.
What We Do Not Do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use the extension to read private messages, passwords, or unrelated browsing activity. We do not post to your X/Twitter account without your action.
Data Retention
We keep account, settings, payment, and generation history data for as long as needed to provide the service, meet operational needs, prevent abuse, and comply with applicable obligations. You may contact us to request deletion of your account data.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user data. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, but we work to keep access limited and protect authentication tokens and account data.
Your Choices
You can change Pigly settings from the dashboard or extension popup. You can disconnect or remove the browser extension at any time. You may also contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information.
Children
Pigly is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
